A native of Perthshire, Doug studied accountancy at Glasgow University and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a top ten practice in Glasgow. He spent 15 years working in Istanbul, Turkey, in a range of financial, managerial and advisory roles, most recently with a leading Turkish legal consultancy.

As Neptune’s Group Accountant, Doug is responsible for overseeing its accounting systems and for the preparation of financial statements and other management information for all Neptune Group entities. He also assists and advises the directors on tax, finance and compliance issues.
